Planet Fitness in Seabrook, New Hampshire is officially done and open for business!
This is our 4th Planet Fitness we’ve worked on this year, and we are excited to continue this partnership to build more. The location in Seabrook was a full renovation that included renovating the bathrooms, equipment rooms, exterior, and more! This project was especially rewarding to finish as we worked multiple shifts on an expedited schedule in order to make the deadline we promised. Thank you to our team especially in New Hampshire for making this happen, our very own Mike and Kip.
Be sure to check out the other latest Planet Fitness location we worked on in New Hampshire and finished earlier this Fall.
We’re ready to see the memberships roll in and we’ll roll on to the next location!
Last week our very own CEO, Emil Frei, received the John M. Corcoran Award for Excellence at the Diamonds of Dorchester event hosted by St. Mary’s Center Women and Children. The event was filled with companies who support St.Mary’s Center, a silent auction, and amazing stories of how the center has changed women’s and children’s lives. Emil received the award humbly as always, sharing the following statement:
“I was immensely honored to receive the John M. Corcoran Award of Excellence at the Diamonds of Dorchester event. St Mary’s is a wonderful organization that does critical work in making our city and society a better place to live and work. I am also completely humbled by the award as there are hundreds who contributed in making and creating and building the recreation space and I simply stood in for all those who made this possible.”
John M. Corcoran was a real estate developer and one of the founding members of St. Mary’s Center.
“[John M. Corcoran] set a standard of compassion, excellence, and dedication and every year we recognize individuals like him with the John M. Corcoran Award for Excellence and inspire others to model John’s legacy helping those less fortunate.”
St. Mary’s Center
Emil Frei received the award for his outstanding community service and all the philanthropy work he has done for the St. Mary’s Center since 2014. Just last year, Emil offered Berkeley Building Company’s services to construct a new Recreation Room at St. Mary’s. He not only dedicated his time to complete the project, but also offered his expertise and resources, and got together more than 30 construction companies to join him in the effort. The new Recreation Room provides hundreds of children each year a place to run, play, and create long-lasting memories they will never forget.
St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children offers innovative family-centered programs for women and children who have experienced trauma and are living in poverty. Placing families at the center of our efforts, St. Mary’s Center works in partnership with young women, many of them mothers, to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and achieve lasting, powerful change by building their emotional well-being, educational achievements, and economic independence. Thank you for all those who attended the Diamonds of Dorchester event, and who continue to support this incredible center.
